Ich Heise Super Fantastische

I'm giddy.

I realize that considering the amount of work I have to do in the next two weeks should have me weeping...or at least actually working, but I'm doing neither. Because I'm giddy.

My god-daughter, who's pretty much the most gorgeous girl I've seen all year, is going to be baptized so I'm really excited. I hope I can finish her blanket...Oh dear.

Dr. Benthall was actually very nice to me in class today and told me he remembered me from the weekend I visited before I came to Ave. Which is odd considering I talked to him for all of five minutes and I really don't think I'm that memorable. Eh.

We had our Halloween party tonight since we'll all be gone for fall break. The Scooby-doo group was the best with Angie taking the prize as Velma. I was a Russian "mail-order bride" named Dunia because that was the quickest costume change I could do. Sean was utterly startling as his roommate Brendon. Sean's a terrifying mimic and when I first arrived from Benthall's class, I did a quick scan of the room mentally going, "There's Brendon in streetclothes, I'm surprised he's not dressed up, there's Dominic as Brendon and there's Brendon as the god Apollo. Wait that's too many Brendon's. Sean!" Sean being the first Brendon. That's right. I didn't recognize my own boyfriend. In my defense, he seriously is a horrifically good mimic down to the gestures and stance and I only glanced around the room.

Mel and I have been attempting to alleviate Ave Bubble-crazy professor-obscene workload-coma by shaking things up. Over the weekend we drove to Ann Arbor to go "cruising" and we parked at an intersection, cranked up the music, jumped out of the car and started dancing on the street. It was pretty dang cool. The other cars liked it too. And we've gone crazy taking roommie pictures. We're only just now realizing what weird people we are because now we have hard copy proof.

Sean and I got to hang out over the weekend and some more on Monday which was great since I'll be gone for four/five days over Fall Break.

Oh geez, I need sleep.

Ciao!

Dr. Benthall got VERY nice by the end of the wine & cheese party this weekend. If he starts giving you trouble in class sometime just ask him what he thinks about the movie "March of the Penguins."

He'll get quiet real fast.
