Another grand weekend night with Shannon filled with unique and unrepeatable experiences: the clown-hair kid with the giddy, hamster-esque giggle spinning on the carosel at the park (seriously, in a movie that scene would be considered ridiculously unrealistic), the cat-calling highschoolers in the SUV...they had me at "hey, baby"...or was it "she drives me crazy...oh! ooooh!", Shannon and I walking through safety town and turning on the traffic light in the dark and a hundred other random occurances that magnetically come to us, and of course taking off your shirt to "bowm, chicca, boom, boom" the solution to all awkward situations.

Literature Quote of the Day
This was the creature, neither child nor woman, that drove me through the dusk that summer evening, untroubled by love, taken aback by the power of her own beauty, hesitating on the steps of life; one who had suddenly found herself armed, unawares; the heroine of a fairy story turning over in her hands the magic ring; she had only to stroke it with her fingertips, and whisper the charmed word, for the earth to open at her feet and belch forth her Titanic servant, the fawning monster who would bring her whatever she asked, but bring it, perhaps, in unwelcome form.
-Brideshead Revisited by Evelyn Waugh
